Business Analyst / Sales Support - Asset Management – Ref: KC13706

This leading global Asset Manager who offer a broad range of strategies across Fixed Income, Equities and Alternatives, are currently seeking an Analyst to assist and support their Global Business Development Group. This is a hugely exciting opportunity for candidates who may have prior RFP, Sales Support, Consultancy or, a Project Management background, to partner with Sales, Investment, Product and Operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales, Investment Team, Product, and Operations to respond to requests for data and/or presentation materials in a timely manner 

  • Monitor and report investor asset flows

  • Support senior leadership with requests, strategic initiatives, internal presentations, business plans and board reports

  • Assist in the development of management reporting tools to allow leadership to evaluate distribution activity and effectiveness

  • “Project Management” of CRM enhancements that require support of Technology and/or Distribution users

  • Work closely with Technology teams on day to day issues and projects related to CRM design, implementation, and integration of data from back-office systems

  • Suggest and execute on ideas to enhance sales and marketing processes, inclusive of software and vendor applications

  • Ensure sales processes are compliant with regulatory requirements and firm guidelines by working with the firm’s internal compliance and legal departments

  • Manage and coordinate updates for weekly product pipeline call between various business units across the organisation

  • Assist in compiling monthly product highlights showcasing recent developments that are shared amongst the broader organisation

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2-4 years’ experience in financial services, sales support, or project management 

  • Ability to analyse, strong attention to detail, willingness to learn and show intellectual curiosity

  • Advanced MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

  • Ability to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks, and meet time-sensitive deadlines

  • Team player and highly proficient when collaborating with others 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Salesforce.com platform, Seismic and PowerBI experience a plus

  • Interest in investments and the asset management industry

  • Bachelor degree required
