Digital Marketing Consultant Part Time – 12 Month FTC - Ref: AB13886

Our client, a highly regarded Global Asset Manager is looking to hire an experienced Digital Marketing professional for a newly created role within new central Sustainable Investments division (the Institute) of the business. You will work closely with the Communications Director and be responsible for the division’s digital presence, including website, social media, intranet, SEO as well as helping to manage the design and production of research materials and marketing plans.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Institute’s website, ensuring it effectively presents the Institute’s purpose and research. Ensure that content is always current and up to date, SEO effective, compliant and reflective of the brand and broader campaign strategies.

  • Manage the Institute’s social media profile, building its follower base through organic and paid activity.

  • Co-manage the timely production of the Institute’s research output, liaising with the report authors (usually research companies), briefing and liaising with design and typesetting resources – both through agencies and in-house – to produce impactful reports and content in a timely manner, in line with budget.

  • Contribute to the institute’s brand and visual identity

  • Manage the digital creative development of the Institute’s research output, contributing to the development of videos, infographics etc that will be used as part of the overall communications plan.

  • Manage the design and production of emails and other communications to promote the Institute’s reports with clients and other stakeholders.

  • Monitor and report regularly on website KPIs and other digital metrics, actively contributing recommendations for improving the user experience and content effectiveness

  • Liaise directly and effectively with the internal Technology teams to ensure a seamless understanding between design requirements and development

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years in digital product management/website management and implementing digital marketing initiatives that deliver ROI

  • Experience working in a complex, global business would be highly regarded

  • Innovative and creative thinker, capable of generating new ideas

  • A strong knowledge of ESG and sustainability issues

  • Passion for digital product management/website management - with evidence of delivering against agreed KPI targets

  • Advanced understanding of content management systems and experience in web content management, testing and publishing is essential

  • Experience working across multiple projects using Agile methodologies and an understanding of the project management process

  • Knowledge of UX principles and experience in developing UX programs

  • Knowledge of the digital ecosystem and how CRM, web, mobile, social, search, and external channels integrate and work together to form omni-channel client experiences

  • Knowledge of web analytics tools and analysing and presenting data to derive insights

  • Track record of working with a global in-house IT or technology teams

  • Experience of working on creative digital campaigns including video and animated infographics
