Fixed Income Fund Manager - Independent Investment Committee Member (NED role) – REF KC:14745
This leading global investment firm have a rare opportunity for a highly experienced senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, or Fixed Income Funds expert, to assist their Executive Investment team within a strategic investment advisory function. This role may suit an asset management expert with prior experience of working at Non-Executive Director level, due to the consultancy nature of the appointment.
Roles & Responsibilities
The main purpose of the Appointment is to work with and assist the Senior Executive Investment Team in the execution of the Company’s investment management approach by providing input and participating directly in key investment decisions, with a specific focus on Fixed Income.
Selection, monitoring and, where required, change of investment managers approved to manage the Company’s funds within the fixed income franchise.
Regular assessment and evolution of the Company’s range of fixed income funds, including fund design and the blending of managers for multi-manager funds.
Making recommendations as to how the fixed income fund range should be applied and combined within fund-of-fund portfolios.
Providing strategic input into investment governance and decision making, recommending and supporting improvements where relevant.
Experience & Qualifications
Extensive investment industry experience within a Fixed Income Fund Manager or C-Suite funds capacity.
Be able to evaluate and challenge processes.
Highly experienced in attending and presenting at client meetings.
Energetic, collaborative, flexible approach with drive; relish the opportunity of working with the Investment team and channelling positive suggestions and improvements.
Prior expertise working at NED level.
Flexible given the consultancy nature of the role.
