Graduate - Investment Performance & Analytics - £Exc - Ref: KC13825

This leading investment firm are keen to make an addition to their Investment Performance and Analytics team. Ideally suited to a Graduate with some relevant industry experience of reporting analytics and looking to build a career within investment management, you will have responsibility for producing performance reporting for institutional investors and senior management, building strong relationships with custodians, and working closely with the Investment team, Client Management, Strategy & Risk. You will also have the opportunity to work on specific reporting based projects, gaining knowledge of a wide array of asset classes, with strategies across both listed and private markets.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • The core function of this role is to produce performance reporting for institutional investors and senior management and work on reporting-based projects.

  • Working closely and building strong relationships with various departments across multiple Custodians as well as in-house teams covering, among others, the Investment Team, Client Management, Strategy and Risk.

  • Collect, calculate, and report on the performance of all asset classes in which the investment funds invest, to include but not limited to; public equities, fixed income, real estate, credit, private equity and infrastructure.

  • Produce accurate and timely performance data and reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis within mandated timeframes

  • Prepare presentation of performance data to a high standard.

  • Verify all data for accuracy and reasonableness.

  • Liaise with client management and internal stakeholders to ensure reporting meets all requirements.

  • Coordinate stakeholders and provide support (reporting design, control framework, production processes).

  • Ad-hoc reporting projects requested of the Investment Performance & Analytics team.

  • Ability to identify and develop process improvements and efficiencies in the team and for clients and internal stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications

  • A clear interest in Investment Management.

  • Graduate (or equivalent) with high credentials. A financial or mathematical degree is preferable

  • Progress towards the CFA is preferable but not essential.

  • Strong understanding and experience of MS Office suite with advanced Excel skills.

  • A self-starter with a strong understanding of reporting analytics.

  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity

  • Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information

  • Effective communication skills including the ability to influence and build good working relationships at all levels both internally and externally.

  • A confident yet approachable style; ability to resolve issues in an appropriate manner and interact with people at all levels across the business.
