Our client, a highly regarded Investment Manager has an outstanding opportunity for a driven sales professional to join their highly regarded intermediary sales team. You will take responsibility for a defined book of clients across a sales region and develop relationships to retain and develop business.
Roles & Responsibilities
Primarily from a telephone base, service and build relationships with the market described above to ensure consistent communications on the firms’ products and services as well as dealing with specific enquiries on both a reactive and proactive basis.
Follow-up proactively on sales activities generated by the Regional Sales Directors and DFM Specialist.
‘Close deals’ ensuring that the appropriate product or service has been sold to the purchaser.
Plan and organise sales visits, presentations and contact in order to develop relationships and generate sales.
Proactively carry out external communication of sales and marketing campaigns.
Work with the regional sales director to devise and review the sales strategy within defined client market.
Deliver sales targets whilst operating within defined parameters.
Build appropriate client relationships across defined client area.
Experience & Qualifications
Previous sales and industry experience preferred.
A sound understanding of the financial services intermediary market is required coupled with the products offered within the Investment management industry.
A demonstrable track record of actively develops good working relationships and inspires confidence and trust when dealing with colleagues and clients.
Effective telephone presentation skills.
A client service focus in attitude and approach to work.
Driven, motivated and proactive approach to sales.
