Marketing Associate - 12 Month FTC – Ref: AB14084

Our client, a progressive global Asset Manager is looking to add to their highly regarding EMEA Marketing team. You will assist with the implementation of the firm's marketing and communications activity across the UK, European and US Wholesale and Institutional channels. Working with the channel marketeers, content and digital team to deliver an integrated marketing strategies aimed at raising AUM and retaining existing clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support business development activities and specific product promotions to the wholesale and institutional channels in order to maximise acquisition and retention of key clients.

  • Support channels marketing manager in EMEA and the US to deliver the marketing strategy for the regions across the different channels (Content, direct mail, social, display, SEM, events and campaigns)

  • Support marketing managers ensuring correct implementation of bespoke events and support at third party conferences and roadshows. Assist with all event preparation (e.g. marketing materials, ads, banners, merchandise, printing etc.)

  • Work with the Marketing Managers to execute and co-ordinate advertising and promotional campaigns.

  • Execute cost effective and timely production of marketing and sales support materials (including coordinating content, design and typesetting, sign off procedure and printing) to ensure that all materials meet the needs of our client base, in support of our strategic marketing plans.

  • In conjunction with the Digital and content team, manage the day to day handling of all social media activities on Linkedin ensuring posts are accurate and compliant

  • Review web content on the UK and European websites ensuring it is up to date and relevant to our audiences as well as to proactively provide ideas for improving content and functionality.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Ideally exposure to working within the Asset management arena with a knowledge of various investment products including OEICs, investment trusts and hedge funds.

  • Ability to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, accurately and within the agreed time frame.

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.

  • Hands on approach, with a flexible and adaptable manner

  • Strong experience in event management

  • Excellent knowledge of Linkedin

  • Knowledge of automated email platform like Pardot or Marketo

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and under deadline pressure

  • Knowledge of advertising, print production and web publishing.

  • The role requires a proactive approach, excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to manage/prioritise a wide range of tasks.
