Product Documentation Associate - 12 Month FTC - £Exc + Bens

Our client, a progressive global Asset Manager is looking to add to their highly regarding Product team. You will provide dedicated support and global oversight to the firm’s Irish UCITS Investment Vehicle (the VCC). The VCC is the firm’s flagship pooled fund, so this is an important and visible role within the business.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Senior Product team members mainly in London but also globally along with other key stakeholders (legal, compliance, tax, operations etc.) to ensure efficient and timely of the offering documents primarily for the UK OEIC as well as UK Investment Trusts, US DST and LLCs) This will include:

  1. End to end drafting, approval and publication of the prospectus.

  2. Engagement with the Company’s in-house legal team, and on occasions, external law firms/regulators to ensure timely completion of prospectus.

  3. Drafting, translation and mailing of shareholder notices as required in global jurisdictions.

  4. Project management of downstream impacts on the business arising from Prospectus changes.

  5. Co-ordination and management of corporate actions requiring EGMs.

  • Completing and managing regulatory filings in global jurisdictions and ensuring compliance

  • with downstream regulatory reporting requirements.

  • Liaising with key service providers to ensure Registration activity of the VCC platform

  • remains up to date and assist with business assessments of any new country registration

  • requests.

  • Working closely with external legal counsels (based mainly in Ireland, Hong Kong, but also Singapore and Taiwan).

Experience & Qualifications

  • A paralegal or compliance background or experience with fund registrations and/or fund filings.

  • Prior experience of dealing with financial regulators directly or indirectly would be advantageous.

  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively, and able to manage conflicting needs.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with teams across Europe/Asia/Australia/US is important.

  • Good network of outside contacts and industry best practice, including ability to translate the impact of Irish regulatory landscape for the business.

  • Proactive self-starter who is able to effectively work in a different location from the core team (London).

  • Willing to think strategically and take accountability to execute operationally.

  • Ability to deliver change and enhancements, and work with ambiguity in a start-up environment.
