Our client, a highly regarded global equity asset manager with a reputation for being pioneers
in sustainable investing is looking for an experienced RFP professional to join their Client Communications team. The successful candidate will be integral to the requests for proposals/information, client and operational due diligence questionnaires ensuring they are managed and delivered to a highest quality and in a timely, accurate and compliant way.
Roles & Responsibilities
Ownership of the delivery and coordination of new business proposals (RFPs)
Assist in the delivery of information requests/due diligence questionnaires for existing clients.
Writing and maintenance of new and existing content for information requests.
Working closely with business stakeholders to deliver competitive proposals and content within the legal and operational framework.
Ensure all external communications are approved in conjunction with internal processes and global compliance regulations.
Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders.
Assist in other areas of the marketing and communications mix where appropriate.
Experience & Qualifications
An understanding of the investment industry and marketing equity products to clients and prospects globally. Previous RFP experience is essential.
Strong technical knowledge and ability to work with different Funds and Strategies in multiple jurisdictions.
Working knowledge and experience around best practices in RFP/RFI production and delivery.
Experience in content management, writing RFP answers and coordinating business answers for external use. Knowledge of internal information databases (e.g. RocketDocs, Qvidian) useful but not essential.
The role requires excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to manage, prioritise and deliver a wide range of tasks.
Ability to deal well with the pressure of multiple deadlines whilst maintaining a quality approach to work and a professional demeanour.
Ability to work with a large/diverse number of different departments and be ‘internal’ client facing as well as ‘external’
Strong customer service focus, results orientated with a high degree of personal and corporate responsibility.
Strategic thinker – innovative and creative, capable of generating new ideas and thinking laterally.
Strong interpersonal skills, confident, diplomatic and ‘can do’ attitude.
Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.
