Our client, a boutique Asset Manager with circa $12Bil AUM is look to add additional resource to their Operations team. The role will predominantly support the Asset Management arm of the business but will also provide support to the Treasury and Banking business too.
Roles & Responsibilities
Become fully cross functional across all administration processes supporting asset servicing in Securities Operations covering Securities Trade Settlement, Corporate Action Event Cycles and Static Data Maintenance in relation to all market transactions executed by the firm on behalf of the Discretionary Client and UCITS Fund business lines.
Administration of all Corporate Action Capital Events
Administration of all Corporate Action Income (Dividend & Coupon) Events
Investigation and the clearance of Stock and Cash reconciliation exceptions
Pre and Post settlement date processing of Equity and Bond Securities transactions
Administration of all Custody Network charges, Management and Performance Fees
To ensure that you have a full understanding of the risks and controls associated with the processes that you take responsibility for and that you ensure such controls are exercised.
To be aware of regulatory and/or market developments applicable to your areas of responsibility.
Communicate ideas and give recommendations to the Line Managers of the Department on increasing efficiency, reducing operational risk and costs.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience as an Administrator within an active Asset Management Operations environment
5 years minimum of operational experience within the Asset Management arena.
Exposure to Corporate Action processing and Settlements and Static Data would be a distinct advantage
Understanding of equity and fixed income asset classes
Demonstrates working towards seeking better Client outcomes by being perceptive and Client focused
Demonstrates being inclusive and ethical with integrity, accountability and openness
