Financial Services Management Consultant, Luxembourg - Competitive salary
Our client: a niche, Financial Services focused, European Management Consultancy firm, is currently seeking experienced consultants (between 5 – 10 years’ experience) to join its growing Luxembourg-based team.
Roles & Responsibilities
Defining and designing projects (objectives, deliverables, activities, resources, plan, risks, critical success factors)
Organising project activities consistently with the objectives and constraints of the project
Preparation, management and facilitation of meetings with clients and prospect clients
Directing, guiding and motivating the project team to achieve timely delivery of high-quality output
Progressive creation of ‘innovative’ knowledge (e.g. on regulations, process, new products, competition)
Production of documentation useful for commercial purposes – documents, analysis, presentations, articles, blogs etc.
Managing clients’ expectations in terms of scope, schedule and budget in line with capabilities
Identification of new sales opportunities (at your client)
Motivating resources and managerial responsibilities -promoting continuous learning as well as time and workload management
Experience & Qualifications
– 10 years’ demonstrated consulting experience from within a consulting firm
Strong knowledge of Financial Services (can be from financial institutions, insurance, and/or asset management perspectives).
Good knowledge of the main themes in the sector – such as product / service families, main players, industry structure, regulation, data sources, competitive strategies
For the more senior role: good managerial skills to lead and develop a small team
An entrepreneurial spirit and results-focused mindset in order to identify and develop new business opportunities whilst having patience when processes are lengthy
Excellent interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders
Fluent in English (other European languages would be beneficial)
Strong academic background – degree level, preferably with some business and finance modules
Proficient use of IT tools (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word)
The ability to travel depending on the project (though the role is primarily based in Luxembourg)
