Head of Transfer Agency, City of London - £Exc

Our asset management client focuses on two principal areas of investment expertise: outcome-based, multi-asset investment and single-strategy, active investment e.g., UK, European, US and global equity funds. They are seeking a Head of Transfer Agency to be responsible for oversight of Transfer Agency and manage the relationships with direct and institutional clients. This role is offered on a hybrid working arrangement – minimum of three days in the office each week.

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage key processes such as dealing, AML, complaints and payments.
On behalf of the COO, be responsible for CASS oversight.
Agree the strategy and business plan for the area as well as working with other departments to ensure the effective delivery of the strategy and plan, including other areas of operations, investment, distribution and marketing.
Manage changes to regulations.
Monitor the timeliness and accuracy of complaint responses.
Recruit, manage and develop the Investor Services team members as required.

Experience & Qualifications

Considerable experience of leading a Transfer Agency Oversight/Investor Services Team.
Strong people management experience.
Ideally have held a CASS certified position. If not, must have had significant CASS experience.
Strong regulatory and compliance understanding.
Good IT skills.
