Investment Analyst - £Exc + bens
Our client, a UK-based asset management firm with circa £11 billion of assets under management in a broad range of investment products, is seeking an Investment Analyst. The company focuses on two principal areas of investment expertise: outcome-based, multi-asset investment and single-strategy, active equity investment, e.g. UK, European, US and global equity funds.
The role involves hybrid working with at least three days office-based (City of London).
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide support to the CIO, working as part of the Investment Team.
Undertake investment analysis relating to the Diversified fund range.
Assisting in research connected with new products or projects.
Assisting in the production of regular and ad-hoc reports, investment and other.
Assist in product governance process.
Analysis of asset classes, markets, sectors and individual investments as directed by the CIO.
Assist the CIO in oversight and monitoring of all fund performance and risk metrics.
Provide dealing instructions and liaise with dealing team on reporting to CIO.
Preparation of marketing materials.
Produce management information.
Enter details of errors and breaches on to the SONAR system.
Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
Ideally be a graduate.
Have worked in financial services, ideally fund management.
Want to make their career in fund management.
Ideally have the IMC or CFA qualification, but that is not essential.
Have strong numerical and analytical skills.
Have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
