Investment Communications Manager - £Exc + bens

Our client, a UK-based asset management firm with circa £11 billion of assets under management in a broad range of investment products, is seeking an Investment Communications Manager. The company focuses on two principal areas of investment expertise: outcome-based, multi-asset investment and single-strategy, active equity investment, e.g. UK, European, US and global equity funds.
The role involves hybrid working with at least three days office-based (City of London).

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create a broad range of investment marketing communications across multiple digital channels, including emarketing, fund manager commentaries and updates, webinars, webcasts, videos, podcasts and social media to key audiences including retail investors, investment-led intermediaries, wealth managers and institutional investors.

  • Ensure content is aligned with brand positioning and key messages.

  • Use relevant metrics to analyse impact of investment communications.

  • Ensure compliance with FCA rules and the principles of treating customers fairly when producing communication material.

Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ marketing experience in an asset management company.

  • An understanding of investment products and financial markets and the ability to apply this knowledge effectively to communications.

  • A very good understanding of Compliance frameworks from a marketing perspective.

  • Experience of producing and checking marketing communications to a standard that ensures adherence to compliance guidelines.

  • A good understanding and experience of producing digital content to engage with investment professionals.
