Client & Operations Analyst £35,000 - £40,000

Our client, an independent, London-based, Private Investment Office managing approximately $1.5BN of capital for their private and institutional clients, is looking for a Client & Operations Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. The position is a hybrid role, encompassing client work, operations, and other various project related tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities

Client related:

  • Assisting with client related tasks such as completing subscription documents, resolving client queries and liaising with 3rd parties such as custodians, lawyers and accountants

  • Onboarding new clients to the firm and to custodian partners

  • KYC monitoring for clients, as well as dealing with queries from funds

  • Monitoring and processing capital calls

  • Other ad-hoc tasks

Operations:

  • Creation and maintenance of client portfolios in our reporting systems

  • Reconciliation with third-party custodians

  • Security/instrument maintenance in reporting systems

  • Client Reporting – ad-hoc and regular monthly/quarterly client reports

  • Documentation – creation and maintenance of policies, operational procedures, client files and other documents

  • Helping with invoices, terms, invoice settlement, correct cost allocation, etc.

Projects & Admin:

  • Provide project support and administration with relevant projects (e.g. business/legal/compliance initiatives, IT migrations/upgrades, client repapering, etc)

  • Helping with smaller projects or tasks across the whole business

  • Admin / Office Management

Experience & Qualifications

  • A team player able to work in small organisation that is moving at fast pace

  • Strong (verbal and written) communication and inter-personal skills

  • Proactive self-starter mentality and demonstrated high attention to detail

  • Strong academic background and degree educated from a top tier university, minimum 2:1 qualification in the relevant field (e.g. finance, accounting, business administration)

  • Excellent numerical / quantitative skills

  • Knowledge of and interest in financial markets and instruments

  • Must be proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint

  • Experience of Qplix, Refintiv and Preqin is a bonus

  • This role is suitable for an individual with up to 2 years of relevant experience and is ideally someone with the ambition to build a career within asset management.
