Trade Support Analyst – Asset Management - £Exc
A superb opportunity to join this highly regarded asset global manager within their Trade Support team. The role is suited to high achieving candidates looking for a progressive career move within a broad and challenging role. The role may suit an experienced Graduate with 3-5 years industry experience within a similar role, looking for their next move in industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
Trade Support, FX Settlements and Collateral.
To liaise with Traders to ensure the timely and accurate booking, and correction where required, of all trades executed.
To investigate all pre matching market statuses for all trades executed in prematched markets and liaise with customer custodian’s and broker’s where corrections are required.
To investigate the reasons for any failed trade and liaise with relevant counterparty to issues corrections as and when needed and to update all relevant internal customers with actions taken via failed trade report.
To produce and dispatch any commission based reporting to internal and external clients on a timely and accurate basis.
Oversee and complete the restricted and developed market FX settlements process for all equity and fixed income products ensuring immediate resolution of issues to facilitate timely settlement.
Oversee and complete the Collateral Management, NDF accounting and Cash Standing Settlements Instructions in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
Oversee and complete the set- up, amendment and removal of all portfolios which fall into the third party FX panel for both developed and restricted markets.
Completion of timely and relevant management information, controls, procedures and other key departmental documentation and metrics.
Experience & Qualifications
Strong academic background; Graduate with relevant industry experience (3-5 years).
IMC Award or equivalent - preferred.
Strong numerical ability (testing onsite).
Experience working within a similar role (buy side, sell side or custodian).
Excellent communication, written and presentation skills.
Manage key relations with external and internal clients and third parties.
Planning and organising, forward thinking and adding value.
Deadline conscious; driven, proactive and self- starter.
