Transformation Office – Senior Associate - £Exc + bens and bonus

Our client, a highly regarded Investment firm with circa $45Bil of AUM has a newly created role for an experienced Project Manager to join their highly regarded and experienced Transformation Office. The successful candidate will work on business critical delivery projects which predominantly relate to Client Relationship Manager (CRM), Execution and Portfolio Management System (PMS) platforms and be integral to the rollout of these programmes.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work with key business stakeholders to actively elicit requirements, and design solutions to solve for them from a functional perspective. You will work with, and translate, business requirements and functional designs into technical parlance for internal and external (including vendor) development teams.

  • Producing User Stories, requirements, process flows, entity relationship models as inputs into both technology delivery, and operating model design work with the business.

  • Analysis and integration of information from disparate sources to produce insights as inputs into the transformation roadmap, and individual projects.

  • Sources could include SQL databases, DealCloud CRM, business stakeholders, business spreadsheets and TO spreadsheet resources.

  • Insights could pertain to cost-benefit assessments, project prioritisation, technical designs.

  • CRM configuration in DealCloud. Skills would be developed on the job.

  • Business analyst support into both BAU and project delivery for DealCloud CRM; Execution system; and eventually portfolio management system.

  • Working directly with Investment Research, Client Operations and Investment CIO team members and must have a flexible and entrepreneurial approach to their work with an appetite for challenges.

Experience & Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have circa 4 years of experience, likely come from an Asset Management, Consultancy or Fintech background and be experienced in project management or process re-engineering with experience implementing complex, multi-faceted projects and initiatives.

  • Experience managing, or playing a key role, in projects which directly changed operational processes or ways of working resulting in strategic business impacts.

  • Demonstrable experience leading, or taking a key role in, projects which required in depth discovery, advanced solution design and the definition and management of UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

  • The ability to engage and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders of all levels, and coordinate teams of business users and technical staff across multiple locations.

  • A curious and analytical approach with the ability to identify areas for process improvements or improving business functionality.

  • The ability to understand and query relational databases and programming languages (for example, but not limited to, SQL, Python, Java).

  • Prior experience in building visual mock-ups (for example, but not limited to, using Balsamiq, Lucid, Visio).

  • Proficiency in building process diagrams, creating user stories, building Gantt charts and entity relationship diagrams.
