Alternatives - Product Operations - £95-105K + bonus & bens
Our client, a highly regarded multi-asset Investment firm are expanding their Alternatives Asset Management arm which focuses on creating solutions for the private wealth segment. This includes both launching co-mingled private asset funds, more bespoke solutions and the more extensive use of technology to serve their investors. They have a newly created role to help build the business across the EMEA and APAC regions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Support and coordinate new Alternatives business building projects, including new product launches, new platforms / fund set ups, new operational projects requiring heavy cross functional coordination.
Contribute to initial project design and objectives setting.
Coordinate across internal teams (mainly product team, legal and compliance, investment and client operations, and investment team).
Coordinate with external advisors and other third parties (ranging from tech to fund admin) where required.
Support with financial planning for the business across EMEA and APAC e.g. budget planning and tracking, new project evaluation.
Provide support to leadership in day-to-day management of the division e.g. meeting preparation, ad hoc analysis, business review document preparation.
Support the go-to market for Private Equity, including
- Execute evergreen conversion
- Onboarding of funds on iCapital marketplace and related operational follow up
- Onboard PE offering on AllFunds / FundsPlace / other platforms as needed
- Launch local structures as needed e.g. UK LTAF, AUT, ELTIF
Plan, coordinate and support the launch of the Private Debt offering.
Plan, coordinate and support the setup of new partnership e.g. coordinate the launch of bespoke funds or solutions for specific partners.
Experience & Qualifications
Approximately 7-10 years of relevant work experience in asset management with strong exposure to alternative investment products.
A passion for leading and managing projects, and experience driving teams across multiple functions.
Ability and willingness to take initiative and responsibility in a fast-moving business building environment.
Experience and understanding of fund structuring and operations would be advantageous.
Strong academic rigour gained from a top tier university.
Strong communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders across all levels of the business and our external partners in an international environment.
Well-organised with excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills, able to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
