Client Portfolio Analyst - £Exc - City of London

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with 2-3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role, to join an investment team of four in a City-based company that provides independent advice to clients on all aspects of financial planning and investment management. The successful candidate will be expected to study for the CFA qualification. Our client operates a hybrid working arrangement.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Build knowledge of investment markets and contribute to the development of investment strategy.

  • Contribute material for client and Investment Committee reports.

  • Produce reports and analysis on investments held by clients and prospective clients.

  • Liaise with client teams in the production of performance reports and investment rationales.

  • Attend events to build relations with fund managers and acquire knowledge of a range of funds.

  • Research opportunities within fund sectors.

  • Undertake administrative tasks such as liaising with platform providers regarding fund availability and maintaining a central repository of key fund documents for model funds.

  • Working in the Investment Client Services stream of the Investment Team and reporting to the Investment Director.

Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate will;

  • Be highly numerate and proficient in Excel.

  • Demonstrate a strong academic background, probably having graduated from a Russell Group university.

  • Communicate clearly and concisely and enjoy writing.

  • Have an interest in investments, economics and business.

  • Have a strong attention to detail.

  • Have 2 – 3 years’ relevant experience.
