Senior Business Development and Marketing Operations Manager (FTC 6 months) £85k - £120k base + bens & bonus

Our client, a leading global Law firm with a fast-growing Fund and Corporate Services arm, is looking for an experienced Business Development and Marketing Operations Manager to join on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract asap. The successful candidate will need a background in corporate services and fund services (fiduciary), be based in London or Jersey, and have a strong track record of success across an operational and strategic remit covering BD and marketing.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Working with Global Directors to deliver Business Development and Marketing plans including operating framework, processes, platforms, playbooks, templates, service levels, RFP pitch functions, and CRM / data best practice implementation.

  • Put into place and deliver a Business Development and Marketing infrastructure to meet the firm’s requirements and growth plans.

  • Help develop the BD&M strategy aligning with commercial priorities, business-wide objectives, and the evolving needs of the business.

  • Drive and implement process and system improvements, including standardised reporting tools, dashboard, and ROI metrics to provide clarity and tracking effectiveness across all BD&M operations.

  • Lead clarification and development of brand hierarchy and USPs internally and externally, and support ongoing improvement of brand positioning.

  • Collaborate with key client account and management leads to deepen relationships, optimise cross-sell, and drive revenue growth.

  • Drive digital transformation of BD&M, ensuring optimal CRM use and data integrity.

  • Collaborate across group and service lines to support business planning, sector strategy, pricing and knowledge sharing among core business units and legal service lines.

  • Translate technical service offerings – including fund administration, regulatory services, corporate governance, fiduciary structures and compliance-led processes, into compelling client value propositions.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven track record of implementing Business Development and Marketing infrastructure in place to meet global growth plans and requirements from a Corporate Services and Fund Services perspective.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work at a senior level to deliver plans.

  • Ideally degree qualified.

  • Strong ability to deliver change initiatives with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder influencing skills.

  • Strong commercial orientation with multi-jurisdictional experience.

  • Expertise in pitching, RFPs, account management, CRM/data management and client insight.
